So why am I posting about this? Well, I have a few friends who work for the local NOVA and while I’m sure the company isn’t gonna shut its door and retire its obnoxious half-bunny half-squid mascot any time soon, I AM somewhat concerned about the company going on a cost-cutting spree and putting them out of work. Oh, and it makes it look like I’m actually engaged with events around here instead of just looking like a booze-hound educator with aspirations of tourism.
The NOVA bunny. Dosen't it look like something out of the Cthulhu mythos? And yet the sight of this monstrosity apparently makes people crave an English language education... go figure.
Right, back to my oh-so engaging ironing; shirts don’t artificially flatten themselves y’know…
Shaun.

Wow you have been a busy blogger! Yes that squid thing creeps me out... not much happening here, we just had our first house inspection so the house has never looked cleaner. We converted your room - temporarily - into a tv room... Ooo and I went to AVcon this weekend. I bought 'My neighbour Totoro' for Nina... the idea of a 'cat bus' intrigues me. Freaky. Somehow though AVcon was lacking this year, less stuff to do. They didn't even have an xbox 360 or a ps3. :P

Wow....creepy squid-bunny creature! *shudders*
Oh, and congrats on the new bed/lounge combo!
Looking forward to the next instalment of the adventures of Shaun! *waves*
Rockin' guys, cheers for writing (as always)!
Awww... I missed AVcon! Dangit! Oh well... it's not like I'm lacking for anime... just anime that I can understand (but then, if I want to see short-skirted schoolgirls I can just step outside). Sounds like the house is still cool, that warms my heart no end. :) Say hi to everyone and keep me up with goss!
The Nova mascot is actually just supposed to be a rabbit, but to me it clearly looks like a squid (that yellow thing is a beak, no question). And it really is far from cuddly... I'm planning to buy a plush one and bring it home to sit next to Cthulhu on my shelf :P
Take care amigos! Stay frosty and don't work too hard! :D
I think AVCon was the conference my friend/colleague at the tax office was on the committe of to help organise. She went back to Adelaide for it last weekend. Would have been nice to head over for it, but I'd just been over for my brother's 21st the previous weekend ...
